Alexandra Eala is among the WTA players set to achieve a rankings change following the conclusion of the Miami Open.
Eala loved her time at the Miami Open despite suffering a heavy loss in the round of 16, where she was beaten 6-0, 6-2 by Karolina Muchova.
It was in stark contrast to her unforgettable debut at the Miami Open in 2025, when Eala reached the semifinals as a wildcard.
She was ranked 140th at the time, but managed to knock out three former Grand Slam champions en route to a final four finish.
But a rankings drop is now imminent for the Filipina superstar after she failed to defend her points at this year’s WTA 1000 tournament.

However, the 20-year-old can immediately bounce back in the clay-court swing, with Eala next playing in Linz early next month.
