Taylor Fritz and Alexander Zverev are gearing up for another tussle this time at the US Open in New York.
The two players met in the last 16 at Wimbledon earlier this year, with Fritz reaching the last eight for the second time at SW19.
Zverev has been backed to win the US Open by Tim Henman and he does appear to be over the injury that blighted his Wimbledon campaign.
Fritz is once again standing in the way of Zverev progressing to the next stage and it feels like a big opportunity for both players.
The match-up will take place tomorrow and it promises to be an entertaining clash between two of the biggest serving players on the tour.

What Alexander Zverev has said about Taylor Fritz ahead of US Open clash
It would appear as if these two players have a great deal of respect for each other ahead of their latest Grand Slam tear-up.
Zverev will be hoping to make amends for his Wimbledon defeat and he has a big chance to win a first major at this year’s US Open.
Ahead of tomorrow’s match, he told the US Open media team on YouTube: “We had some very good matches, tough battles as well in the past.
“Wimbledon especially, I feel like it was a good match. I was not 100% healthy, I was not able to move the way I wanted to move, but it was still a good match.
“I am looking forward to another tough battle, and we are in a quarter-final of a Grand Slam, there are no easy matches from now moving forward.”
Taylor Fritz discusses Alexander Zverev match-up
The American star has issued a response to Zverev and it would appear that he’s looking ahead to the match too.
Fritz will be under no illusions that this is a huge chance for him to progress to a first-ever Grand Slam semi-final.
He said on YouTube: “Our head to head we kind of go back and forth, I think the last five or six times we played, it has been I win one and he wins one.
“We play close matches. It can go either way. A lot of it depends on the serve. If one of us doesn’t serve well or the other one returns really well and wins the big points, that’s always going to be the difference maker in the end.
“Wimbledon was an interesting one as he won the first two sets but I still felt like I was playing really well, so I had that confidence to take it one set at a time and see if I could bring it back, because I did feel like I was playing well.”
Zverev has the game to win a major title
The 27-year-old has been knocking on the door for a number of years when it comes to the Grand Slam events.
He reached the semi-final in Australia, the final in France and also the final of the US Open back in 2020.
That record shows that he’s a dangerous player and with Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic both out, Zverev might want to seize the moment.
Fritz will provide a tough opponent and he will be encouraged by the fact that he beat him at Wimbledon not too long ago.
This one looks like being a quality match and hopefully, it can live up to the pre-match billing.
