Laura Robson has shared the one question that she refused to ask Andy Murray after his defeat at the Australian Open.
Robson was speaking on Eurosport earlier today.
So, what has the former Great Britain star said about Andy Murray? Let’s take a closer look…
What Laura Robson refused to ask Andy Murray
Robson is the roving reporter on the ground at the Australian Open for Eurosport for the next two weeks.
After Murray was beaten in straight sets by Tomas Martin Etcheverry earlier today, Robson was tasked with having a few words with the beaten star.
During her chat with Murray, there was one question clearly omitted and it involved quizzing him on any retirement plans.
Robson believed that the time wasn’t right to be asked such questions and delivered a classy riposte.
She told Eurosport: “I didn’t think the time was right to ask him about retirement. It wasn’t a question I wanted to ask him. It’s not the right time.

“There were four or five journalists in the press conference who pushed and pushed but straight after the game is never the right time.
“That’s now how he would have wanted to announce his retirement if that even is how he’s feeling.
“I certainly wouldn’t have wanted to do it that way.”
Robson delivers classy verdict on Murray
Murray lost in straight sets earlier today, going down 6-4, 6-2, 6-2 and was blown away by Etcheverry.
The former world number 27 called time on her playing career in May 2022 and these days is involved with the media.
Her best run at a Grand Slam even came in 2013 when she reached round four of Wimbledon.
As someone who has travelled the world competing, however, she will understand what Murray is feeling mentally.
As a result, it’s a classy gesture that she chose not to ask Murray about retirement.
The 36-year-old did hint that it might be the last time he plays at the Australian Open but he will need time to think things through.
Robson knows how heartbreaking it can be to walk away from tennis and hopefully, Murray can bounce back from this disappointment.
