Coco Gauff has come on leaps and bounds since she first burst onto the scene, with the 20-year-old already boasting a long list of silverware.
Gauff won the WTA Finals last month, completing a fantastic year in which the American won three titles in total.
She may not have clinched a Grand Slam, but Gauff already has one such title to her name thanks to her 2023 US Open win.
Gauff loved her record-breaking season, with further success now certainly on the cards in 2025, with the new WTA season rapidly approaching.
Only Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek are ahead of the American in the WTA rankings, a situation which could change early next year.

Gauff first emerged as a Grand Slam contender when she shone on debut at Wimbledon in 2019, where as a 15-year-old she beat Venus Williams in her first match in the main draw.
The American fell in the fourth round, but again won on debut at the US Open, with the legendary Rafael Nadal having been asked for his thoughts on Gauff after that victory.
“I saw her a couple of days playing Wimbledon,” Nadal told reporters at the 2019 US Open. “I think she is very strong to be… she’s 15?
“She’s tall and she has a lot of power. I think she has a great intensity playing. Let’s see. Of course, looks like she has an amazing future in front. I really wish her all the very best.
“It’s tough to put lot of pressure on her now or talk too much about her now. Even if she’s doing amazing things, she is very young.
“In my opinion, she needs to internalise the things step by step. If not, is easy to lose a little bit the perspective. I really hope that she has the right people around, and she will become a big star of this sport for sure.”
What is Coco Gauff’s Grand Slam finals record?
It’s fair to say Gauff adopted such an approach since first making an impact on the WTA Tour back in 2019.
She lost in the third round of the US Open that year, but conquered New York just four years later with a final win over Aryna Sabalenka.

There was also French Open heartache the year before, with Iga Swiatek defeating Gauff in the 2022 Roland Garros final.
But at the age of just 20, the American is world number three and has nine WTA Tour-level titles to her name.

Both figures are very likely to be improved upon sooner rather than later, while it is also worth remembering that a Grand Slam doubles title is also on her honours list.
After two Grand Slam women’s doubles finals losses, Gauff lifted the French Open title this year alongside partner Katerina Siniakova.
