Tennis couples will be enjoying Valentines Day before they get back in action on the ATP and WTA Tour’s.

The stars of men’s and women’s tennis are often focused on securing big wins, but that doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy their time off the court.

Several high-profile ATP stars are in public relationships with their WTA counterparts, as the couples enjoy success together around the world.

Gael Monfils and Elina Svitolina, husband and wife, both impressed at this year’s Australian Open, as the pair secured their best results at the event in years.

Monfils reached the fourth round before Svitolina advanced to the quarter-finals with big wins over Jasmine Paolini and Veronika Kudermetova.

Another top tennis couple endured very different tournaments down under, as Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa took to the courts at Melbourne Park.

Greek 11th seed Tsitsipas lost to Alex Michelsen in the first round, 5-7, 3-6, 6-2, 4-6, while his partner enjoyed her best-ever Major performance.

Badosa qualified for the semi-finals with a big win over American star Coco Gauff, before coming up short against her friend Aryna Sabalenka in the last four.

Badosa and Tsitsipas have impressed in recent years, as have Monfils and Svitolina, although none have come close to the achievements of tennis’ most successful couple.

Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi: The tennis couple who won a combined 30 Grand Slam titles

Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi are two of the most recognizable names in all of tennis, having won countless titles during their time in the sport.

The pair began dating in 1999, following the French Open, and married in October 2001 before having two children.

In 1999, when Graf and Agassi started their relationship, the former was the most successful player in WTA history, having won more titles than any other player in the Open Era.

Graf won her 22nd and final Major title at the French Open in 1999, as she stood atop the world of women’s tennis once more.

Agassi was also victorious in Paris 26 years ago, as he took down Andriy Medvedev to win the men’s final in five sets.

In doing so, Agassi clinched his fourth Grand Slam title and became the first male player since Rod Laver to complete the Career Grand Slam in the Open Era.

Agassi and Graf both lost in the final of Wimbledon later that same year, in what turned out to be the German’s last Major tournament.

There was still more Grand Slam success to come for the couple, however, as Agassi set his sights on the US Open in New York.

Taking advantage of a draw weakened by Pete Sampras’ absence, Agassi secured his second title at Flushing Meadows with several big wins.

Over the next few years, Agassi added to his Major tally with wins at the Australian Open, a tournament that proved to be one of his best.

Agassi regrets not playing at the Australian Open during his younger years, having skipped the event for the first nine years of his career.

When Agassi lifted the title on Rod Laver Arena in 2003, he clinched his eighth Major crown, taking his and Graf’s combined total to 30, a number that may never be topped.

Matching Graf and Agassi may be an ‘impossible’ feat, but which high profile tennis couple are at the top of their games in 2025?

Tsitsipas and Badosa narrowly edge Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter at the top of the rankings, despite the latter couple’s improvements over the past 12 months.

The duo looks set for big things in tennis this year, as they would no doubt love to replicate the success of Agassi and Graf in the future.
