How to get 2026 Australian Open tickets

As of the time of writing, the Australian Open is still yet to announce when tickets will go on sale for the 2026 tournament. But fans can expect 2026 Australian Open tickets will go live for sale in late 2025, with details usually given in September and tickets released in October.

There are a number of ticket types for fans planning on attending the Australian Open, from Ground Passes with general admission plus outside court access to those with a guaranteed seat for sessions in the Rod Laver Arena, the Margaret Court Arena and the John Cain Arena.

A number of official Australian Open travel agents also sell ticket packages which can boast admission ticket(s) to attend the first Grand Slam event of 2026. Package deals can also add the exclusive AO Reserve Hospitality, hotel, flights and sightseeing tours per your selections.

When is the next Australian Open?

Organizers have confirmed the next Australian Open after the 2025 edition will take place in January 2026 and as it will start one week later, the tournament will end on February 1. The 2025 Australian Open was handed a start date of January 12 plus an end date of January 26.

Where is the next Australian Open being held?

Melbourne Park, which has staged the Australian Open since 1988, will continue to host the tournament in 2026. The venue will even continue to stage the first Grand Slam of the year until at least 2046 after signing a contract extension with the Victorian government in 2024.
